I was fortunate to travel to Uganda, Africa on a documentation assignment for the North Carolina Zoological Park. In Bagodi, we observed brick making. I painted BagodiBrick in Pittsboro, NC when we returned. The form in the upper third represents a brick oven with damp grass thrown on top. The bottom half is impressed NC clay.
